From October 9 to 13, the cross-movement Alliance “Disrupt” is organizing days of action on the topic of agriculture and the food system in and around Bremen. Worldwide, agriculture is dominated by the agro-industry—built on exploitation and destruction for profit. A huge system of supply chains, dependencies, and concentration of power has emerged, with well-known consequences for our society, climate, nature, and animals.
Several ports where soy feed from South America is transshipped are located in the surrounding area. The region is also known as a hotspot for the animal industry. These are good reasons for us to actively participate in the action days.
Together for a solidarity-based, ecological, and sustainable food system. Stop feed imports! Stop the agricultural and animal industries!
