Organize information events and action training

We want to stop the poultry company PHW with a mass blockade of civil disobedience. But in order for as many people as possible to take part in the campaign, good mobilization is necessary. We therefore ask you to organize information events in your cities. This is a very good way to support the campaign in advance.

So that you can prepare well for the action before the camp, we also offer action training. The action training takes about four hours. Both events can also be combined. For example, a lecture on Friday evening and action training on Saturday afternoon.

How do we imagine such a mobilization event?

A person from the alliance “Gemeinsam gegen die Tierindustrie” travels to each Mobi event and gives a lecture lasting around 45 minutes. In this lecture, background information on the animal industry as well as everything important about the campaign “PHW ade!” Will be highlighted. Afterwards there is the possibility to ask questions. In this way, the participants can get an idea of the alliance “Gemeinsam gegen die Tierindustrie”.

If you decide to organize a Mobi event in your city, you do not have to prepare in terms of content. You would only have organizational tasks: This includes the organization of an event room and the application of the Mobi event on site. It would also be advantageous if, in addition to the room rental, you could cover the travel expenses of the alliance person who is traveling to you. But is not a must. For example, it is a good idea to sell drinks or (vegan) nibbles at the event. You are also welcome to combine the Mobi event with another event.

We are always happy to receive suggestions!

A text that you can use to promote the Mobi event can be found below. We will also announce all Mobi events on our website.

We would like to use a projector for our presentation. It would be great if there was one in the event room.

If you would like to organize a Mobi event, please write to us at this email address:
mail (at) gemein-gegen-die-tierindustrie.org . You can find the appropriate PGP key for mail encryption here. Feel free to email us a few suggested dates. We will then contact you as soon as possible to coordinate the appointment and to clarify any open questions.

Proposal for the promotional text for Mobi events:

he Mobi-AG of “Gemeinsam gegen die Tierindustrie” wrote the following text. You can use this text to advertise the Mobi event in your city. However, you should add the information in the square brackets.

“Gemeinsam gegen die Tierindustrie” – information evening about mass campaign and action camp

[Date, time and place of the information event]

Anima industry not only exploits numerous animals, but also contributes enormously to the destruction of the planet. The cultivation of animal feed in the global south displaces small farmers and exacerbates the hunger problem. Brutal conditions prevail in German slaughterhouses and workers from south-east Europe suffer from fatal working conditions.

The alliance “Together Against the Animal Industry” no longer wants to accept all of this and calls for a campaign of mass civil disobedience. From 13 to 20 June 2020 there will be a protest camp in Niedersachsen, from which the PHW group is to be blocked. The PHW Group is one of the most important players in the German animal industry, including e.g. the brands “Wiesenhof” and “Bruzzzler”. If you also want to do something against the animal industry, you are cordially invited to the camp taking place in June 2020.

For all those who would like to find out in advance, an information event will take place on [Date] at [Time] in [Location], [City]. There, a person from the alliance “Gemeinsam gegen die Tierindustrie” will formulate criticism of PHW and animal industry. In addition, further information on the planned campaign should be provided. Questions can then be asked. This way every person – with or without previous activist experience – can get an idea of the campaign and we can all say “PHW ade!” in June 2020.

You can find more information on www.gemeinsam-gegen-die-tierindustrie.org and at the group [local group that hosts the information event]. We look forward to seeing you!
